Makers Unite manufactured 28,270 face shields over 56 production days in spring, 2020.

As of 6/12/2020, we have sunset the Makers Unite project (for now) to focus on reopening our makerspace. Over the coming weeks and months, we will be working to hand this project off to our partners at Innovation Works to create a social enterprise in Baltimore City that can employ adults with barriers to employment.

Further, we have applied for some funding to create a permanent online home for the online volunteer network infrastructure we created to run this project. Keep an eye on this space to find out if and when that starts moving forward.
